Why TRANS Must Hold This Year
God’s given vision should not be limited by any circumstances including the death of the vision carrier. This is because the vision is God’s given and is not determined by the life span of anyone.
Reiterating this, the wife of Late General Overseer of Reconciliation House, Mrs. Funmi Odeyemi in an interview with MIEC Radio said that TRANS (Towards Revival Among The Nations) which is God’s given vision will still hold this year despite the conspicuous absence of the set man.
Mrs. Odeyemi who lost her husband in February this year, stated that the church will be holding this year’s retreat despite her husband demise.
Speaking on her motivation for this development, she stated that, “A visioner may die, but his vision lives on”. She further buttressed that TRANS is a vision from God, and not a personal ambition of Late Joshua Odeyemi.
Her statement reads: “Not holding TRANS this year would have been a betrayal of trust on my part seeing that TRANS was one of the labours Late Joshua Odeyemi “lived and died for”. His vision shouldn’t be aborted because of his death. Participants shouldn’t be deprived of the blessings and benefits that comes with TRANS.
My husband used to say that nothing should stop the work of God and not even his death. Even if I die during TRANS program, please pack me aside and continue with the program” she stated.
Sis Funmi Odeyemi added that TRANS will not be the first major programme that Reconciliation house has held after the demise of Pastor Joshua. Some other major programmes have been held virtually this year.
She also used the opportunity to invite everyone from all nations of the world to be part of this year’s TRANS program as it will be taking place online. The theme of TRANS 2020 is ” Great Grace & Great Power For Kingdom Exploits”
